I believe that art is the quality, production, expression, or realm, of what is beautiful. But of course what is considered as "beautiful" varies from person to person. The term beauty, and the term art, both depict very subjective and fluid ideas. An artist is one who creates a way to generate and exhibit what ever moves them, or appeals to them aesthetically; I definitely consider myself an artist because I've been creating all my life. As a little girl I used to dance around, draped with colorful fabrics; sporting every piece of clothing from my “dress-up bin;” a little knot here, a tie around there, and VOILÀ a masterpiece; with my hair wildly fashioned, and vividly colored make-up smeared across my face, I transformed my body into a canvas, in which I expressed my own realm of beautiful things, and there it began: my life of art.
